R.I. power plan is in flux
Democratic leaders in the state Senate plan to sponsor a new version of a bill early next year that would create a quasi-independent power authority to oversee renewable-energy projects in Rhode Island such as the wave-energy project proposed by Oceanlinx Ltd., whose test installation off the coast of Australia is shown here.
